  • 6 oz
    fresh raspberries
  • 2–4 tablespoons
    granulated sugar (to taste)
  • Juice of 1/2 to 1 whole orange (fresh is best)

Directions

  • Prepare the Fruit

Wash, peel, and cut all fruits into bite-sized pieces.

  • Arrange in a large bowl or platter.

  • Keep chilled until serving.

  • Make the Raspberry Sauce

Place raspberries in a blender or use a handheld blender.

  • Sprinkle with the sugar and let them sit for a few minutes.

  • Add the orange juice and blend until completely smooth.

  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove the seeds.

  • Use the back of a spoon to press and extract as much liquid as possible.

  • Taste the sauce: add more sugar for sweetness, or more orange juice for a lighter consistency or extra citrus flavor.

  • Serve

Serve the fruit salad with the raspberry sauce on the side so each person can drizzle as much as they like.
